Our editorial independence pledge

We, the StudyBackedHealth team, pledge that:

1. Scores come before commissions. Every provider is scored against our published methodology before we check whether — or what — they pay. Scores are locked once written.
2. Rankings are never for sale. No sponsored placements, no paid badges, no "featured" slots, ever.
3. Unscored means unscored. A provider we haven't finished reviewing shows no numbers and no badges — we will never fake a score.
4. If our #1 pays us nothing, they stay #1. And we'll tell you we earn nothing from the recommendation.
5. Sources are shown. Medical claims cite the actual studies, and industry funding of key trials is flagged inline.
6. Errors are public. Substantive corrections are logged, dated, on our corrections page.
